Join Us on Wednesday, December 18th at 6:30pm. Dr. Daisy Century performs historical interpretations of the lives of brilliant and influential women. Dr. Daisy Century will perform Phillis Wheatley. She dresses like the character from that particular time period and weaves their story to the audience from birth to death. She engages the audience through every phase of their life.
Phillis Wheatley earned acclaim as a Black poet, and historians recognize her as one of the first Black and enslaved persons in the United States, to publish a book of poems.
